This artwork with a charitable cause, is supporting children and parents who have an invisible illnesses or have been diagnosed with cancer or another serious life-threatening or life-shortening condition. This to provide financial support for activities that empower the child and their family in Flanders and Brussels (psychoeducation, grief counseling, recreational activities, etc.)

The proceeds will go to VZW KOK | Samen sterk and UZ Foundation – De Appeltuin.

Through my work I’ve come to understand how crucial visibility and awareness are for those whose struggles aren’t always seen.

Aerial acrobatics stands for vulnerability, strength, flexibility and endurance to new heights. It increases your body awareness and boost your self-confidence. Self-confidence is necessary to cope with the impact of a invisible illness, the misunderstanding and frustration and the ignorance of the environment.
